Watching Katniss

Before the guards removed me from the room where I thought this is the last time we will see Katniss... My last time I would see her. I hope she had heard me say that I loved her and hope she makes it through the games. Walking away from the room, I thought about my promise to Katniss that I would take care of her family. It would never feel the same hunting without Katniss, her gift in archery and all I have is snares. Coming home to my own family, I suddenly see Katniss on the television having a interview at the capitol and sitting next to her was peeta. I hear Caesar Flickerman asking Katniss questions, then I hear "Gale". I stopped and thought she actually mentioned me out of everyone else here in district 12 on television? Then I wondered if she was going to tell the capitol that Katniss and I go hunting in the woods for food because we are poor. Oh no I thought Katniss don't say anything that will get anyone or any of our families in danger. Katniss doesn't say much, but Caesar flickerman raves on about the games. Then he asks about her family, I hear her talking about Prim and I can see tears rising in her eyes. I know she trying to fight them away because shes looking around and batting her eyelashes. Then Caesar Flickerman starts to say his final good-byes then the television goes black. I could only help but think how Katniss is feeling, I really do have hope and faith she will make it in The Hunger Games.
